I enjoyed the learning experience of the process' that each department uses everyday to make the company work on a global level.

The only thing that I wish had been different was the length of my internship, I wish it had been longer.

Take in every experience that they offer you, you will be learning valuable information that will benefit you in the rest of your career.

What I liked
My favorite things from my job were being a team leader and meeting or working with our current and new customers.
What I wish was different
I wish there was more consistency in the job. Some nights you can finish at a decent hour. Other nights you may not finish until midnight.
Advice
The initial job involved lots of training and was overwhelming. However, about a month in you really can comprehend and break down the different systems and processes that are required.

What I liked
I liked all the training (negotation training and sales training) and experience (learning about the company and different departments, shadowing sales people, mentor program, volunteer events, and Lunch and Learns) throughout my internship. The company really invests in their interns and will do anything to help them achieve their goals. I grew both professionally and personally throughout my time at UPS during my summer internship.

What I liked
Having an indépendant project that ran over the course of the 10 week internship. Shadowing my supervisor with various tasks, conference calls, and spreadsheet operations.
What I wish was different
My supervisor was on vacation/at another distribution center 4/10 weeks, so it was sometimes challenging to find tasks to help out with.
Advice
Listening to podcasts while working at a computer for 8 hours a day, sure does make the day go by a lot faster!

I was able to see a lot of different industries in UPS such as different hubs and the airport. I truly felt like I was solving a real problem, and the culture was phenomenal.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have gotten more hands-on time and would not have been behind a desk as often as I was.

One thing that I have enjoyed while working at United Parcel Service is the fact that I am able to build and work on my personal skills. I have been able to work on skills such as communication skills, leadership skills, and time management skills just to name a few.

I wish that I could receive an offer for a full time position from UPS.

I would tell anyone to take in as much as you can and be willing to learn. You will learn a lot!

What I liked
What I liked about working at UPS was being right at the airport. I worked day shift so I got to spend many days watching different planes take off and land at SDF in Louisville, KY. I worked in the international area of UPS, and it was so interesting to see packages coming from all over the world to Louisville, KY.
What I wish was different
What I wish could have been different, was more work ethic from co-workers.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share about this experience is the job maybe hard mentally and physically but it's totally worth the paycheck at the end of the week!
