Camp Content Creator

Camp North Star seeks a creative and energetic Camp Content Creator who will capture and share the magic of camp life through photography, video, and social media. This role is perfect for someone passionate about visual storytelling, engaging with kids, and contributing to the camp community in various ways.

Camp North Star is a premier sleepaway camp in Poland Spring, Maine. We are looking to hire motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced interns for the 2025 camp season. The compensation includes all living and food expenses. This position is ideal for college students and recent college graduates.

Qualifications:
• Experience with photography and videography, particularly in outdoor or action settings.
• Knowledge of photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere).
•Social media management experience, with an understanding of platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Comfortable working with children of all ages and abilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to step in wherever needed.
• Previous experience in a camp or similar environment is a plus!

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:
• Capture daily photos and videos of campers, staff, and activities, ensuring coverage of key moments and camp highlights.
• Manage the camp’s social media accounts by uploading content, creating posts, and engaging with the camp community online.
•  Edit photos and videos for daily sharing with parents, promotional use, and end-of-camp slideshows.
•  Ensure all content is organized, edited, and posted in a timely manner.
•  Maintain photography and video equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order.

Camp Support:
•  Assist with various camp duties as needed, including helping in cabins, during mealtimes, or with evening programs.
•  Be a friendly and positive presence, helping campers feel welcome, safe, and included.
•  Step in to assist counselors and directors when necessary, showing flexibility and teamwork.
