What I liked
I got the opportunity to give back to a program that brought me to where I am now.
What I wish was different
I wish I'd gotten just a little more, thorough training.
Advice
Keep an open mind. The students that are a part of the program have all had vastly different experiences, so they all process and see the world differently. You're there to help create a space where they feel safe in expressing themselves, trying new things, and becoming the best students and people they can.

Met a lot of students, worked with professors, sharpened my forestry skills, teaching skills, public speaking.
What I wish was different
Better pay would have been nice.
Advice
Its a great opportunity to get to know your professors of your field.
