What I liked

I loved the growth mentality each person has at True Vision. They all seek to grow in the way they think, especially in their character because they have realized that is the way to success. Although the people aren't Christian, they do have great qualities such as work ethic. Another thing I loved which was super helpful is the leniency they have with scheduling, especially for those in school.

What I wish was different

I wish I was selling something I love and not cable or internet. Most of the time when you don't sell something that is interesting to you, it is hard to have a passion for it. Another difficult thing is that I have to convince people to switch their cable or internet services over to ours when they never came in the store with that in mind. Some people ignore me or are very rude which isn't great. I wish people were more kind when it comes to people trying to sell to them.

Advice

One piece of advice would be to work hard and build strengthen the way you think. In other words, have a positive mindset all the time regardless of what others do or say. Don't let someone's negative comment or action distract you from your goal (when it comes to selling). Another advice I would give is to not give excuses. The more excuses you make for anything, the slower you will get to your goal.

People were welcoming and helpful, I was taken seriously even though I was an Intern, Room for growth as I was promoted within my internship period, offers experience in many different fields

What I wish was different

Scheduling had been more organized

Advice

Make sure you are able to commit yourself on weekends and weekdays as well as be aware that although initially you might find the job difficult you have room for growth within the company
