Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation

About Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation

The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (TRMF) is a 501(c)(3) public non-profit organization that was formed in 1986 by our founder Harold Schafer.

The TRMF operates lodging, entertainment and recreation attractions, and provides numerous historical education opportunities in the beautiful ND badlands near Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

Housing is available to seasonal employees at an affordable rate. Employees have access to the Life Skills Center building which includes a cafeteria, fitness center, social room, and a resource room for students who are taking online summer classes. Other perks include free admittance and discounts to attractions, shops, and restaurants around town. TRMF seasonal employees have the opportunity for an end of season bonus and to apply for our scholarships. Interns will participate in our Legacy Trail Internship program where they will meet bi-weekly as a group, receive a mentor, and complete a Capstone project.

Campground Front Desk Representative

June 2019 - September 2019 Medora, ND
β€œI love the atmosphere, my team mates, my supervisor, Medora.....there is so much to love. I lived at the campgound so I essentially spent my summer "at camp". We worked hard to help our guests have a great experience at the campground, helped them plan activities in and around Medora and solved problems as they came up. ”
