I enjoyed working at my high school alma mater. I believe that because I am fond of this community, I was able to execute my role on the campus well.
What I wish was different
At times, it was difficult to find a break from my role. Having a few designated "off-days" would generally be nice. I would have wanted to spend some time with my family in my hometown.
Advice
I would encourage seeking opportunities in places that you have felt you have left some sort of mark on. Or simply a place that you care for much. In any career, I would think that it is essential to do something because you genuinely care about what you are doing.
