“This internship was a really rewarding experience for me and was a great introduction into the pharmaceutical industry. Working in the QC Microbiology lab, I enjoyed watching and performing the assays that the analysts executed. More importantly, I liked being able to piece together how different departments worked together towards one goal. This program emphasized getting exposure to different areas of Sanofi, and I was even able to visit different Sanofi sites as part of my experience. I really enjoyed this aspect of my internship, as well as the freedom to explore my own interests. Lastly, the community at Allston is incredibly welcoming; everyone was so friendly and eager to help. This made for a very positive work environment. ”

“This internship was an incredible insight into the behind the scenes operations of a bio-pharmaceutical company. This included extensive tours of facilities, processes, and departments. As a member of QA I was exposed to "on the floor" operations, as well as organizational standards used throughout the company. I felt that work I did to create new organizational tools was useful and valued by the department and that their work to educate me on their company was detailed and insightful. Everyone I met was a pleasure to work with, including 7 fellow interns that were also part of my program. This opportunity also allowed a lot of freedom in daily work, where I was really only given the expectations, resources, and requests for a project and the rest was up to me to reach out to people for input and feedback and to complete it how I saw fit. ”
