What I liked

At RES, I worked with an amazing team (accounts payable); each and every individual on the AP team provided a warm and encouraging environment for an intern to learn, grow, and develop! RES was exceptionally inclusive and welcoming in addition to being understanding of student workers.

What I wish was different

My future as a worker and student didn't include me being in an accounting environment, meaning that I couldn't progress further. If I had interest in accounting, I would've stayed with this team for the foreseeable future.

Advice

If you are an accounting student interested in an internship, this experience is BEYOND valuable. You will be surrounded by individuals with plenty of knowledge, experience, and connections. The time I spent at RES was extremely educational, even to a non-accounting major; this is a great place to find an internship or student job. The accounting clerk intern position required diligence, autonomy while upholding integrity, time-management, and independence.
