I was a fan of working with the children and creating fun and exciting, yet unorthodox games in order to compensate for the social distancing that had been mandated, as well as making sure they stayed safe during this pandemic.
What I wish was different
I wish I had picked a different co-counselor to work with, as she was rather difficult to work with and generally put a strain on things for me.
Advice
If I had one piece of advice, it would be to practice patience with the kids you're working in such an environment. Understand that they're kids.
