I had a lot of freedom to work independently on multiple projects and arrange my work days to allow for meeting times. My input was valued at team meetings and my work was actually being used for analysis of projects. I also got to experience a variety of work tasks, which helped me refine my interest zones within the environmental disciplines.
What I wish was different
I would have preferred that the full time employees were in the office more often (hybrid work schedule was allowed). There were a few days where the office was very quiet and I felt more "on my own" and unable to get help with questions on my work.
Advice
Do not be afraid to ask questions and ask for specific tasks or projects that you want to experience. Employers want to help you grow professionally and expand your knowledge in your interest zones.

What I liked
I really loved this job, mostly because once you got to know everyone it was just like hanging out with a bunch of friends 5-6 days a week outdoors. There is genuinely no other place I would have rather worked for 2 years.
What I wish was different
Not much except maybe a little less rain, what more could I ask for.
Advice
Come in open minded and you will leave with over a dozen new friends.
