TimkenSteel is a great company with wonderful employees and great amenities. Many off-campus intern activities with fellow interns, plant tours, and helpful coworkers made it a good experience.
What I wish was different
I wish that the program for my specific department had been more structured. Most days, I didn't have much to do or projects to work on.
Advice
Make the most of the new connections you make to other interns and coworkers, who are great resources to have. Ask questions and learn as much as you can.

What I liked
Amazing team with work that mattered to the company.
What I wish was different
Hoped for prospects of returning after graduation, but post-grad positions mostly offered only for engineering roles.
Advice
Put your best efforts into everything, because the company is small enough that your work is likely to be seen and used by colleagues of all positions throughout the company.
