This internship was well-paid and I was able to work full time in a role that was relevant to my major.
What I wish was different
There was a lack of communication between my supervisor and I. He had a very hands off approach to managing to the point that he wouldn't even check in with me, so I often had little to work on. When I needed my coworkers to review my projects, they would often brush them aside or say they'd get to it sometime later. It felt like the little amount of work I was given wasn't as important.
Advice
Make sure you speak up and advocate for yourself so that you make sure you learn what you want to at your internship and get the most out of it.
