I liked a lot about this internship. Not only did I get to gain hands on experience in my field but I got to feel what a healthy work environment is like. The staff was welcoming and collaborative as a cohesive group. This internship confirmed this is the right field for me and gave me the skills and experience to get started. I also appreciate the balance of work, life, and play the role offered. I was able to work with a flexible schedule and in a flexible location. All while still engaging with my fellow interns through field trips and community service. I would recommend this program and company to all my friends.
What I wish was different
Honestly, nothing.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share about this experience is to take advantage of every opportunity they give you. At every check in, I was asked if I wanted to learn about any other fields. Say, yes!!! They are here to help us learn and truly want to do that.

What I liked
I liked the the space was open. It was easy to sit where I wanted and have open communication. The employees were always available if I had questions and it made it easy to feel connected to the company.
What I wish was different
I wish I didn't have as much down town. There were some days when I was lacking work and had to try and find things to do.
Advice
Make sure you go in with an open mind and try to learn as much as you can. Ask to shadow other departments.
