I enjoyed being able to learn a little bit on each area of the Ready Mix Industry as well as relocating so I could experience how different areas of the country operate.
What I wish was different
More time with my supervisor and possibly the ability to shadow the regional manager on what his scope is daily.
Advice
Ask Questions.
Their are a lot of different aspects to understand and it can be overwhelming. Asking questions only help your understanding of why things are done.

What I liked
I was able to take initiative on the project's I was working on over the summer. The community was very nice and always willing to answer my questions. They allowed me to get a lot of field experience, as well as learn things that did not necessarily pertain to my major. It helped me feel a little more diverse!
What I wish was different
I wish I had a little more direction for the projects that I was working on. I would have liked to do projects that were a little more relevant to my studies, but I appreciated the work I was given, anyways.
Advice
Ask questions and seem interested in the job! Work diligently and don't give up. Diligence allowed me to complete a project that was far above my knowledge base/education.
