What I liked
Freedom to learn and grow on my own, was not limited to my inexperience.
What I wish was different
More responsibilities, sometimes work was a little slow.
Advice
Build your network and don't be shy to meet as many people as possible. You never know when these relationships you form will benefit you down the road.

Project Engineer
May - August 2018 • Seattle, WA
What I liked
It was a great learning experience, and showed me a lot about how industry employers work and how engineering can be applied outside of an academic setting.
What I wish was different
The internship was set up for students looking for experience as a project engineer and with construction management backgrounds. I was looking to explore the construction field and wish I had gotten a broader scope of work, but that is n't the fault of the internship but instead a difference in what I wanted and expected versus what the internship was.
Advice
Be sure that you know what it is that you will be doing in your position before starting.
