I wish that there weren't so many cranky customers, but that's part of a retail job.

Working in retail gives you the opportunity to really see how you don't want to treat others and how you don't want to be treated.

I like the experiences of personally helping customers looking for the right product and helping them with different cooking styles while ensuring that they get the best quality of their product.
What I wish was different
Personally I don’t wish anything different with this job. This job gives me the accurate amount of customer service and helps me allow myself to develop my interaction skills when dealing with customers.
Advice
The one piece of advice for this job is that sometimes it’s going to be Difficult understanding what kind of product a customer is looking for. It’s not always easy but once you figure out what the customer is looking for and how to cook the proper product, you get a certain feeling of satisfaction helping out others in need.

The hours were pretty flexible, and I got to gain valuable experience and learn tons about corporations and different products stocked and sold in grocery stores.

I felt sometimes my employees did not care about quality as much as I did. Also, I would have liked more hours.
Advice
Work hard at whatever job you have. Because of the effort I put in at this job, I gained lots of experience to help propel me onward in my career (even in job fields that were unrelated!).
