Being able to meet with my supervising manager weekly to give him updates and ask for anything particular I wanted to work on or learn more about, they really let me determine the type of experience I would have. I learned something new every day. They also had great intern programs like networking with leaders in the company, interview prep and going to the New York Stock Exchange.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have gone off-site to more brokerage firms.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions or speak up about something you'd like to do more or less of. In order to have the best experience, you have to take the initiative.
