Great work environment. I was responsible for real, meaningful projects.
What I wish was different
More structure at the beginning. Having more interns at the site.
Advice
Be excited to learn and do your best to ask questions and learn as much as you can.

Engineering Intern
April - August 2021 • West Lafayette, IN
What I liked
I liked gaining experience with coworkers that have been graduated and working for a couple of years. It gave me a sense of pride knowing that after I graduate, I will be like many of the people with Bachelors degrees and Masters degrees practicing their studies on a daily basis.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have worked in person as this was a work from home type of job.
Advice
Working from home is not for everyone. I would say it was a good experience because I do not want to work entirely from my home again.

Reliability Intern
June - July 2020 • Lafayette, IN
What I liked
I liked that I got to be in a role that was outside of my major. I also liked that they still continued with this internship even during the pandemic when many companies canceled their internships.
What I wish was different
I wish I had the opportunity to interact with more people and learn more. I felt like I was stuck in a box in terms of the role I was giving and wish I could've helped and done more. (However, it was during a pandemic so I understood the limitations).
Advice
Do not be afraid to approach someone to ask them about their job and learn more about the company.
