I loved the intensity of the work environment as well as the people. I was lucky to have a supervisor that was more like a mentor.
What I wish was different
Advice
I concentrate on the Middle East but I was a research intern for the Africa Team. My advice would be to try and find experiences that are not always in your comfort zone. If you have the willingness and discipline to learn, you can thrive in different environments and I think this is really useful for future job prospects.
