The community and environment was friendly and enjoyable throughout the entire experience. I was able to see my degree from a corporate level and learn various skills that are outside of a classroom setting.

What I liked
The thing I liked most about the company was that they focus on their employees more than their revenue, making them very successful. In particular, they emphasize continued learning, shown in book studies and regular meetings for all employees. They have a gym, a nurse and they offer fresh fruit to everyone, demonstrating their caring for employees' health and well-being.
What I wish was different
All of the new hires, including us apprentices, had a session with the president of the company where we learned many things about the company. However, this was held at the end of our time as apprentices there. I knew I would not be able to be employed further, as I am a full time student and I cannot work a 40-hour week at the same time, so it did not serve me much to learn all of these things at the end of my time there.
Advice
Speak up when your gut says something is wrong, or that you are not placed well. I would have been miserable if I had not spoken up for myself when I was set to work under the social media manager, where I had no skills or previous experience and I was not learning.
