I loved this internship. Not only did I build extraordinary relationships with the staff but I got to work with an organization I have loved and volunteered with for years. This internship let me use my creative side in helping with fundraising campaigns, organizing events, creating social media graphics/flyers, and more.
What I wish was different
It would have been nice to have this internship be a paid internship, but since Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization, it makes sense that I was not.

What I liked
The Learning experience. Best Buddies is a lesson in communication and compassion that is not comparable to anything else. Just incredible.
