My role was to recruit recent and upcoming graduates for two open positions at Barton: Recruiter and Account Manager. I also promoted Barton through the Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin using fliers and handouts as well as using my own personal network through various organizations. I created innovative ideas to make Barton a well-known company on campus around the country.
I really enjoyed the kind of experience they provided. The staff was always so kind to me. The work I was doing was also able to be done from home or the computer.
What I wish was different
Overall, I was very satisfied with the role, however, I would have liked some in-office work as well, but I have already in-office experience through my other roles so I did not mind this too much.
Advice
If you need pre-med or clerical HR related experience, this company does well to provide it. When recruiting for this company, I would use your personal networks as well as your career office through your specific college at your university.
