What I liked

I loved the people who I worked with. All of the senior staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the trust and freedom that they afforded me to get my tasks done. From day one I was thrown into the fire just like I was a regular employee and not just an intern. I left there with a greater understanding of the daily operations of a professional PR staffer.

What I wish was different

The only thing that I wish could have been different would have to been not working in the main office. AB&C has three locations. An office in Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Bloomsburg. Most of the senior staff work out of the Philadelphia office, and I worked out of the Wilmington office. It would have been a great experience for me to observe the senior staff during their daily routine.

Advice

Best advice I can give is to stay positive, make yourself available to all senior staffers, and don't be afraid to make mistakes or ask questions.

it gave me good experience with research, sitting in on meetings, and creating realistic launch plans for clients

i wish i could have sat in on more meetings and been explained the process that they are going through for each client

it helps to learn as many of the employees as possible - makes the work environment much better than it already is
