Assistant City Attorney (Prosecuting Attorney)

Annual wage range:  $88,160 - $123,424

Employee Contract Required

Prosecutes criminal, civil, and administrative cases involving violations of City ordinances and Codes; and provides legal counsel in the defense of City actions, which includes: making opening statements; arguing preliminary motions; examining witnesses; introducing evidence; making arguments regarding the evidence and the law; and making sentencing recommendations.

Training, Experience & Certifications:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE 
•A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
•Prefer three (3) years of professional legal experience, preferably in municipal law. 

LICENSING and CERTIFICATIONS
•Membership in the Wyoming State Bar Association.
