Position Summary:
The Digital Marketing Intern will play a key role in Soltech's marketing efforts, contributing to a wide range of functions including digital advertising, social media, content strategy, and analytics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about executing a holistic marketing strategy. You will be responsible for assisting with compelling digital campaigns, creating engaging content across multiple platforms, supporting website content updates, and analyzing performance data to ensure our brand's digital presence supports long-term growth.
This position requires a mix of creative storytelling, analytical skills, and strategic execution to drive customer engagement, conversions, and brand loyalty. We're looking for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can help align our various marketing channels with Soltech's long-term goals.
Duties and Expectations:
- Assist in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing operations and advertising creative to drive engagement and conversions.
- Assist in the creation and monitoring of digital ad campaigns across various platforms.
- Help develop blog, social media, and other digital content to boost top-of-funnel organic visibility and traffic.
- Support website updates, including content changes, product page optimization, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Assist with maintaining customer relationships on social media.
- Conduct competitor research and identify market opportunities.
- Ensure brand consistency in design and messaging across all marketing channels.
- Provides stellar Customer Service including responding to electronic, telephone, and in-person inquiries and providing information by answering questions and requests when needed.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Technical Requirements:
- Some experience in digital marketing or sales.
- Experience with e-commerce or D2C companies is a plus.
- Experience with Google Analytics, SEO principles, and content marketing best practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media strategy is a plus.
- Software skills: MS Office, Google Suite, social media platforms, CRM tools, Graphic Design Software (i.e. Adobe, Canva, or similar).
