Estate Planning Paralegal Internship (Fall 2025)

Description: We are looking for an Estate Planning Paralegal Intern to join our team. The Estate Planning Paralegal Intern will be part of a team that ensures that our estate planning matters are processed correctly and promptly. Our clients are worried about their families and futures, and this position will be a key part in our mission of providing them with hope and peace of mind through Relational Estate Planning®.

Anticipated Start Date: September 2025 (negotiable)

Internship Benefits:
• Pay of $15 - $17 an hour
• Potential for college credit (if applicable)

• This opportunity will be offered either remotely or in person in Winchester and Ashburn, VA.

Prerequisites:
• Current undergraduate student (sophomore, junior, or senior preferred)
• Strong academic interest in law or legal studies
• Demonstrated intent to apply to law school (e.g., participation in pre-law society, LSAT prep, law-related coursework, etc.)
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills

Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure clients move promptly through the Estate Planning Process.
• Ensure quality assurance on estate planning documents and client experience.
• Prepare estate documents for clients to sign and facilitate the signing process as needed or as back-up to other EP Team members.
• Participate in Winchester signings and, when scheduled, Ashburn signings (if applicable).
• Keep a record of document changes, client questions, and correspondence.
• Assists the EP team with keeping detailed records of meetings, and other client interactions.
• Provide other administrative assistance to the Estate Planning team, including proofreading, drafting correspondence, and other documents.
• Draft and/or revise estate planning documents, deeds, contracts, and/or corporate documents, as needed.
