Music Business Intern – Christian Music (Fall 2025)
Randall Goodgame Music | Slugs & Bugs + Scripture Hymnal
Location: Nashville-based hybrid
Time Commitment: Part-time, 10 hours/week
Compensation: $10/hr (college credit available if applicable)

Overview:
Randall Goodgame Music is seeking a motivated and mission-minded Music Business Intern to support both of our brands—Slugs & Bugs (Christian children’s media) and Scripture Hymnal (adult worship and scripture-based music). This internship offers hands-on experience in the Christian music industry and the opportunity to contribute to real-time campaigns, music releases, and digital marketing efforts designed to grow audience engagement and brand visibility.

What You’ll Learn:

The inner workings of a faith-driven music company

How music is marketed and distributed in the Christian family and worship spaces

Best practices for engaging Christian parents, churches, and children’s ministries

Strategies for increasing streams, video views, and product sales

Creative campaign development, including email, influencer, and social media marketing

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns for upcoming releases

Monitor digital platforms (Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) to track engagement and trends

Help research and contact influencers, podcasts, and blogs for promotion opportunities

Support audience outreach efforts including surveys, email content, and fan engagement

Organize digital assets and assist with campaign scheduling and project tracking

Research music and ministry trends in both children’s and adult worship markets

Preferred Qualifications:

Passion for Christian music and ministry

Strong organizational and communication skills

Interest in digital marketing, music business, or children’s ministry

Experience with social media platforms, Canva, Google Workspace, or basic video editing is a plus

A self-starter with attention to detail and a collaborative spirit
