Event Marketing Assistant- Entry Level

Invictus Inc is a mission-driven organization dedicated to raising awareness and building community connections for our 501(c)(3) nonprofit clients throughout the Bay Area. We use face-to-face event marketing to create meaningful engagement, increase visibility, and drive support for important social causes.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Pleasanton, CA. Candidates must be located in the Bay Area and willing to commute to our office and event locations across the region. This entry-level role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about event marketing, community outreach, and nonprofit work.

Position Overview

As an Event Marketing Assistant, you will support the planning and execution of face-to-face marketing events that showcase our clients’ missions and programs. You’ll work closely with our outreach and communications teams to ensure events run smoothly and leave a positive, lasting impact on community members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, coordination, and management of marketing events and community outreach activities
• Represent Invictus Inc and our nonprofit clients at face-to-face events across the Bay Area
• Engage attendees by sharing information about client missions and encouraging participation and support
• Support event logistics including materials preparation, vendor coordination, and onsite management
• Collect feedback from event attendees to improve future marketing efforts
• Help maintain accurate records of event activities and community engagement data
• Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm and implement creative event marketing strategies

Qualifications

• Strong interest in event marketing, community engagement, or nonprofit causes
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing, approachable, and comfortable engaging with diverse audiences in person
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask effectively
• Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in customer service, event support, or volunteer roles is a plus but not required
