Position Title: Finance Intern
Location: Magna Eagle Bend Manufacturing – Clinton, TN
Department: Finance
Reports To: Finance Manager or Plant Controller
Internship Type: Paid | Full-Time or Part-Time | Semester or Summer-Based

Purpose of Position:

The Finance Intern will support the Finance Team at Magna- Eagle Bend Manufacturing by contributing to financial analysis, reporting, and data-driven projects. This internship offers hands-on exposure to plant-level financial operations and is ideal for students pursuing a degree in finance or a related field who are interested in real-world experience within the automotive manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports

Support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities

Analyze cost trends, production data, and business performance metrics

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Engineering, Operations) to provide financial insights

Help track capital expenditures, cost-saving initiatives, and project budgets

Contribute to month-end reporting and plant-level financial reviews

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and data accuracy efforts

Maintain organized financial records and assist with audit documentation

Support finance-related presentations and reporting for senior management

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, charts, and formulas)

Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present findings clearly

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and time management skills

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Interest in the automotive or manufacturing sector

Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP) or financial modeling tools

Experience with data visualization or performance dashboards is a plus

Previous internship or project work in finance or data analysis

Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, V-look ups, Reporting, Graphing)
