Business Operations Manager

We are a fast-growing and well-capitalized AI / fintech developer tools company funded by Y Combinator, top-tier VCs, and angel investors (including members of the so-called "PayPal Mafia"), and we are hiring for a full-time Business Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

As a Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing core business processes that drive the delivery and integrity of our financial data products. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth integration, reliability, and compliance of data sourced from global exchanges and third-party partners.

You will also play a critical role in managing relationships with customers, data vendors, and exchange partners. This includes overseeing onboarding workflows, establishing SLAs, handling escalations, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and scalability. Leveraging data and customer feedback, you’ll continuously refine operational practices and help shape strategies that support product growth, customer retention, and regulatory alignment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience through internships, co-op programs, or early-career roles in operations, strategy, partner management, or financial services
  • Familiarity with financial markets data and APIs—either through coursework, personal projects, or professional experience
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives to completion
  • Comfort working with data—proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets is required; familiarity with SQL and Python is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and external stakeholders
  • Interest in the intersection of finance and technology, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and ownership—examples of leadership in academic, extracurricular, or internship settings are highly valued

  • In order to be considered for this position you must be legally authorized to work in the US. We are unable to offer sponsorship (including STEM-OPT and H-1B) for this role.
  • While this is a hybrid position, candidates must be located in the greater Boston area and must be able to commute to our office.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Competitive salary and generous stock options
  • Flexible work hours, work from home, and unlimited PTO
  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits
  • A high-impact role at a Y Combinator backed high-growth startup
