We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and highly motivated Sales and Marketing Associate to join our team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting new people, has a natural curiosity, and is eager to grow their marketing skills in a hands-on environment. You’ll work in a hybrid capacity—splitting time between the office, remote work, and in-person industry events and trade shows where you’ll represent our company and help grow our visibility and lead pipeline. You will have the opportunity to develop your own customers
Position Overview
The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and comfortable talking to strangers, whether online or in real life. You'll support and help execute a wide range of marketing functions—from social media and content creation to CRM updates, lead generation, and industry event representation.
This position requires a people-first mindset, a willingness to wear many hats, and a desire to grow professionally in the fast-evolving world electronic security.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Coordination & Campaign Support
- Assist in developing, executing, and tracking integrated marketing campaigns.
- Maintain campaign calendars and assist in timeline management.
- Draft copy for digital and print collateral, emails, and external communications.
- Collaborate with leadership and sales to create client-facing marketing materials.
Social Media & Content Creation
- Plan, create, and schedule posts across social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc).
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
- Capture and repurpose content (photos, video snippets, quotes) from events and projects.
- Monitor and respond to comments/messages as needed in collaboration with the team.
Website & Digital Presence
- Conduct regular reviews of the company website for accuracy and relevance.
- Coordinate updates with web design partners and optimize for SEO and user experience.
- Assist in the development of landing pages and calls-to-action for marketing campaigns.
Lead Generation & CRM Management
- Input, organize, and maintain prospect and client data within the CRM system.
- Help track lead sources and campaign effectiveness.
- Support email marketing campaigns and contact segmentation.
- Conduct outreach or follow-up communications when necessary.
Networking & Event Representation
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Engage attendees in meaningful conversations and introduce them to our offerings.
- Assist with booth setup, material distribution, and post-event lead follow-up.
- Note: Some events may take place during evening hours, though this is not frequent.
Market & Competitor Research
- Conduct research on potential clients, market trends, and competitors.
- Compile and share findings to help refine marketing strategy and outreach efforts.
- Identify new networking or visibility opportunities in the industry.
Administrative & Internal Support
- Maintain marketing libraries (photos, logos, templates, etc.).
- Assist with organizing marketing meetings and preparing presentation materials.
- Support internal branding efforts and employee engagement communications.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Basic familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (social media, email marketing, Microsoft Office). - Valid driver’s license, transportation, and ability to travel locally to events and meetings.
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) - Interest or background in technology, security, or B2B services.
- Photography, video editing, or social media analytics experience is a plus.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Hybrid work model: remote work, in-office collaboration, and on-site event attendance.
- Flexible schedule with occasional evening events (rare but expected with advance notice).
- Travel required within the central Indiana region for events, client visits, and trade shows.
