advance our global priorities.

The internship is ideal for current undergraduate students or recent college graduates
who are in the Washington, DC area during the Fall 2025 term and are interested in
working in an international nonprofit dedicated to press freedom and the right to reliable

    written collateral
  • Monitor current events related to press freedom on a daily basis

  • Attend and/or contribute to the planning and execution of press freedom-related
    events

Fundraising:

  • Track and acknowledge incoming donations
  • Draft and edit correspondence related to RSF USA activities, including
    fundraising emails and letters
  • Lead all in-house mailings
  • Draft and edit grant LOIs, proposals, and reports
  • Provide fundraising event support as needed

Logistics

We will consider applications for full-time (40 hours per week) interns for the Fall 2025
term, which will start in September and conclude in December. The role operates in a
hybrid office environment that requires two in-person workdays per week with flexibility
to accommodate course schedules. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship
of an employment Visa for internship opportunities at this time, thus the intern must be
already authorized to work in the US during the internship. In addition, the intern will
receive a monthly stipend of $1,000.00.

Applicant Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
  • Detail-oriented
