Account Manager
Summary of the position:
The Account Manager acts as a liaison between our company and customers, maintain and developing their account base. The person in this role handles private label and branded products, offering expert guidance, solutions, and initiatives to foster business growth.
Functions of the Position:
- Maintains and manages business relationships, ensuring effective day-tot-day communication with customers and brokers. Contributes to business development. Identifies potential opportunities and business risks to drive growth and mitigate challenges.
- Creates and leads presentations, manages customer and third-party portals, and supports Business Manage and Sales Directors with various tasks.
- Tracks and analyzes sales data, develops annual plans, and manages customer forecasts to optimize performance.
- Leads and monitors broker managements and coordinates cross-functional projects to ensure seamless execution.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conducts on-site visits to customers to strengthen relationships and address their needs directly.
Qualifications:

Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales, marketing, or account management, preferably in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Demonstrated success in customer communication and collaboration with external business partners.

Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism and focus in all interactions.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, adept at managing accounts and documentation.
- Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and brokers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of efficiently troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Proficient in tracking and analyzing sales data, developing annual plans, and managing customer forecasts.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office Suite, with the ability to navigate and self-teach within customer portals.
