Business Development Associate - East Coast

** Must be Boston-Based **

Fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated sales professional located in Boston, MA, to join a growing, life sciences national staffing agency as a Business Development Associate - East Coast. This role will primarily be responsible for developing new business and managing client accounts on the East Coast. Qualified candidates must be articulate, goal-oriented, motivated and bright, with the ability to comfortably and effectively interface with all levels and work collaboratively with dynamic teams. 

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively search for client companies with staffing service needs
  • Build relationships, with the goal to be the vendor of choice
  • Meet sales metrics
  • Ensure client retention
  • Drive aggressive growth and profitability in a sustainable manner
  • Be knowledgeable and current on client and prospect market insights, current events, and publications
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders while ensuring contracts are executed as agreed upon
  • Gather useful information from client and communicate effectively
  • Create and deliver presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
  • Conduct day-to-day account management responsibilities while providing excellent client service
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or other related discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in industry business development and/or relevant outside sales
  • Demonstrated success developing client relationships
  • Experience in life sciences is preferred
  • Clinical or Scientific recruiting experience is a plus
