Sales Representative

Summary

As a Sales Representative, you will be integral to driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will utilize your core skills in customer service to identifying, understanding needs of potential and current customers and to effectively engage with them to meet their needs. This role requires excellent communication and time management skills, a strong understanding of sales processes, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. The Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

  • Pay is $35,000-$60,000 plus commissions
  • Warm leads - no cold calls
  • Must have excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and organize well
  • Maintain and develop relationships with current customers, follow up with previous accounts and initiate contact with potential customers
  • Work with executive team to identify top accounts and target companies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Review new projects/potential projects with accounting, purchasing for price quotes
  • Work with internal teams to fulfill customer needs
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and product teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Maintain up to date list of sales contacts
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in digital system.
  • Conduct outreach through calling, emails, and meetings to present Nufacturing’s products/services to prospective customers.
  • Complete cGMP and SOP Training
  • Additional duties as assigned

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3 year(s) of Sales experience desirable
  • Strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to close new accounts and deals
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Background in nutritional supplements, biological, chemical, or related field is a plus
  • Computer proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates or Bachelors

HELPFUL SKILLS:

  • Experience working in food manufacturing or familiarity with FDA and cGMP is a plus
  • Understanding of the concepts of the food and/or dietary supplement formulation sciences.
  • Nutraceutical or Chemical Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Office applications: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Detail oriented and ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Proficient in technology and general office equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Regularly required to use hands, talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
