Pathologist Assistant

Provide anatomic pathology services under supervision of a pathologist by assisting in the preparation and performance of surgical specimen dissection. Primary duties include specimen grossing and dictation. The candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and analytic and diagnostic reasoning skills. The candidate must also have knowledge of PC applications.

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s Degree (required)-Life/Laboratory Sciences

Master’s Degree (preferred)- Pathology Program

ASCP Certification (preferred)

Experience:

Required-Minimum three years experience as a Pathologist Assistant or recent graduate of accredited Pathologist Assistant program.
