Position Overview

We’re looking for an energetic and organized Fall Events Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the wedding and event planning industry. You’ll work closely with our lead planner and vendor partners to help bring events to life, from behind-the-scenes prep to day-of coordination. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about events, design, and hospitality — who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get creative!

Key Responsibilities

Assist with day-of event coordination, setup, breakdown, and guest management

Attend client meetings and vendor walkthroughs as a shadow or support

Support logistics planning including timelines, floor plans, and checklists

Help create event materials such as signage, seating charts, and décor layouts

Maintain event inventory and help prep décor and rental items

Assist with social media content creation (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest)

Research vendors, trends, and venues for upcoming events

Provide administrative support such as calendar management, confirmations, and data entry

Represent Just As Planned Productions professionally at all times

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university (event planning, hospitality, design, or marketing fields preferred)

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Professional, poised, and people-oriented

Flexible weekend and evening availability (most events happen on Saturdays)

Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environments

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Access to reliable transportation to travel to event locations (mileage reimbursed when applicable)

Bonus: Experience with Canva, social media, or photography
