K-12 Principal
The K–12 Principal at Lummi Nation School serves as the instructional and administrative leader for the middle and high school (grades 7–12) within a Washington State Tribal Education Compact and Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) contract school. This position is responsible for fostering a safe, culturally responsive, and academically rigorous learning environment that aligns with the policies of the Lummi Nation Education Board (LNEB), the State Board of Education, and the BIE. The principal provides leadership in curriculum, instruction, staff supervision, and student support, with a strong focus on culturally responsive teaching and adolescent development in a tribal education context. While the primary focus is on grades 7–12, the principal will also collaborate with the K–12 Vice Principal to support K–6 programs as needed.
