Operations Intern
The Asia Group, LLC is now accepting applications for an Operations Intern to join our Washington, DC office from late June to August 15, 2025 with possible extension.

The Asia Group is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and responsible intern to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for all greeting and clerical duties at the front desk of our office to include operational support across the organization. Your role will be vital as you will be the first person our visitors meet when they visit The Asia Group headquarters in Washington, DC. Your primary goal will be to make visitors feel comfortable and informed while in our office. A successful intern candidate will have a pleasant personality, a can-do attitude, excellent attention to detail, and be timely and dependable.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and welcome guests when they arrive at the office;
- Support event set up, execution, and clean up;
- Assist with various firmwide Values & Culture and The Asia Group Foundation initiatives;
- Regularly restock common office spaces, including kitchens and conference rooms;
- Answer and screen incoming phone calls;
- Ensure reception and all public office areas are clean and presentable;
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries;
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk; and,
- Perform other administrative and receptionist duties as needed.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as an intern, receptionist, front office representative, Administrative Specialist or similar role;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Highly communicative and responsive;
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite;
- Hands-on experience with office equipment;
- Professional attitude and appearance;
- Solid written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise;
- Time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks;
- Customer service attitude;
- Ability to pass a criminal background check; and,
- High school diploma or GED, strongly preferred.
Job Benefits
Internships at The Asia Group are paid and include health, disability, commuter, and retirement benefits. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. For this position, The Asia Group is seeking candidates capable of working 40 hours per week. For this internship, TAG expects to pay a wage of $18.00 – $25.00 USD per hour.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and are expected to work in-person at the TAG DC office five days per week. Please note that the Asia Group maintains a dog-friendly office environment. Dogs are occasionally present in our workplace, and candidates should be comfortable working in close proximity to them as part of our standard in-person work setting.
