Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our Broker and Operations teams in a fast-paced 3PL brokerage environment. This role is essential for enhancing operational efficiency, improving client experience, and driving sales growth by handling critical, time-consuming tasks that do not require direct sales expertise. Key Responsibilities

Operations Support
- Monitor and track all active loads, proactively communicating updates to internal teams and customers.
- Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments directly with shippers and receivers.
- Identify and flag delays, accessorial issues, or disruptions to the operations team in real time.

Client Communication
- Provide timely status updates and appointment confirmations to customers.
- Serve as a first point of contact for basic load inquiries and estimated time of arrival (ETA) checks.
- Ensure clear and proactive communication during service exceptions.

Sales Team Support:
- Research and compile targeted lead lists based on broker and leadership criteria.
- Assist with CRM/data entry for new prospects and business opportunities.
- Follow up on cold leads or reactivation campaigns as directed by brokers.

Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate load details within the TMS (notes, statuses, contact details).
- Support document retrieval, including PODs, BOLs, and essential reporting tasks.

Qualifications:
- Entry-level experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor Degree Preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a support role, assisting brokers and operational leaders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure seamless client interactions.
