Bookkeeper

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with a strong understanding of accounting principles and exceptional attention to detail. This role will directly support the CFO and play a critical part in ensuring accurate financial records, reporting, and compliance. Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Manage and monitor trust and operating account activity
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for the CFO
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings
- Help with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
- Manage and organize financial records and documentation
- Support audits and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data organization)
- Experience in a legal or professional services environment preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
