Industrial Engineering Internship

The Indy GEODIS campus is made up of 12 buildings encompassing 5.5 million square feet of warehouse space.  Customers in the campus include Emerson, Bark Box Inc, Prestige brands, Pet safe, H&M, Nestle health Science, Johnson & Johnson and many more.

We are looking for a part time/full time industrial engineering internship student to contribute to the numerous ongoing projects at our facilities.

The job description includes:

  • Conduct time studies and workflow analyses.
  • Building and updating MOST sequences to aid in developing labor standards.
  • Contribute towards warehouse design by Layout development, ABC analysis and process mapping.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement department and operations by utilizing IE and Lean skillsets
  • Work with a diverse group of cross-functional areas such as safety, maintenance, IT, and operations to drive capital investment projects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • This internship is open to students in the Industrial Engineering department
  • Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Understanding of AutoCAD, Excel, and MOST
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic personality
