Data Manager

Science Catalysts facilitates the distribution of life science product data from suppliers all over the world.

We collect, standardize, and enrich life science product data before exporting it to international distributor partners, 3rd parties, and academic institutions in exactly the format that their systems require, with whatever standard values their systems require.

We convert a tremendous volume and variety of data into actionable content for our partners to use on their websites and in their ERP systems. Our service dramatically reduces the time and effort that our partners would otherwise need to spend doing this in-house, while simultaneously increasing the data quality.

Science Catalysts was founded nearly 8 years ago, and our small team brings together decades worth of experience in the industry. We are looking to add some additional employees to help us meet the increasing demand for our service and grow with the company.

  • Categorizations
  • Applications
  • Species
  • Storage values
  • Protein tags
  • Post translational modifications
  • And more

As you grow into your role as Data Manager, your daily responsibilities would expand to include…

• Auditing supplier data for available attribution
• Writing code to pull attribution out of supplier data
• Mapping internal standard values to the external standard values of our distributor partners
• Validating outputs for quality and accuracy
• Holding meetings with our distributor partners and applying their feedback

The minimum requirements for the Data Manager position at Science Catalysts include…

• Bachelor of Science degree in any life science field (e.g. Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, etc.)
• Proficiency in Excel
