Safety Coordinator

Safety Coordinator

We are looking for a proactive Safety Coordinator to join our team and help drive a strong culture of safety across all levels of our organization. Reporting to the Director of Safety and Risk Management, this role focuses on injury prevention, hazard identification, and mitigation. What You’ll Do:

Conduct regular job site inspections and walk-throughs to identify risks and ensure safety compliance

Work closely with employees to provide safety instruction and resolve issues

Represent the company in job site safety meetings and collaborate with contractors and owners

Support and help coordinate safety training sessions and awareness programs

Monitor compliance with internal safety policies and external regulations

Review accident and injury reports, conduct investigations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented

Maintain accurate documentation of safety procedures, incidents, and reports

Analyze vehicle safety data and prepare reports for review

What You Bring:

At least five years of experience in safety roles on large construction projects

High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field preferred

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage team members at all levels

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn construction-related software

Leadership skills to coach, guide, and support teams in implementing safety practices

Solid understanding of OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA safety regulations

Completion of OSHA 10 and 30 hour construction safety courses is a plus.

Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure

Ability to walk job sites in various conditions and adapt to changing environments

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
