Live2Create Leadership Academy is seeking ambitious and passionate college students or young professionals pursuing degrees in education, curriculum development, or youth development to support our program design and implementation. This internship provides hands-on experience in curriculum planning, mentorship programming, and instructional design for a faith-based, arts-integrated microschool.
Role: Education Program Development Intern
Reports to: Founder & President of Board
Purpose: Supporting the development and execution of curriculum, lesson plans, mentorship programs, and instructional strategies to enhance student learning.
Essential Functions: Curriculum Development, Lesson Planning, Research, Program Coordination, Student Engagement
Status: Volunteer
Hourly Rate: Unpaid
We are actively seeking 2-3 dedicated interns to assist in shaping the educational foundation of Live2Create Leadership Academy. As an intern, you will collaborate with experienced educators and leaders to build innovative, faith-based learning experiences. You will gain practical experience in curriculum design, educational program coordination, and assessment planning.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and refining lesson plans that align with the Seed curriculum framework.
- Research and implement best practices in faith-based and experiential learning.
- Support the development of student progress tracking tools and assessment models.
- Collaborate on mentorship programming and leadership development initiatives.
- Assist in coordinating guest speakers, masterclasses, and workshops.
- Provide administrative support, including curriculum documentation, lesson formatting, and research.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.
- Passion for innovative, hands-on, and faith-based learning experiences.
- Strong research, writing, and curriculum development skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.
Commitment: 8-10 hours per week, flexible scheduling available.
