On-Air Personality / Production
Pro Radio LLC is seeking fun and energetic On-Air Personalities for 104.3 HITfm, Ke Buena 97.5, and KAMA 750am y 92.7fm. If you’re obsessed with hot gossip this is your opportunity to bring your creativity to the radio airwaves. The ideal candidates need to be able to deliver relevant radio with enthusiasm for informing and entertaining audiences about what is going on in our community and nationally.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all content meets the company and FCC standards Dynamic, natural, authentic communication style.
- Creating chemistry with the other cast members.
- Contribute multi-platform content.
- Prepare and create a topical show by gathering information from online and social media.
- Great collaborator.
- On top of all pop culture breaking news.
- The ability to put a unique/fresh spin on original content.
- Air contests according to the specifications of the Program Director.
- Attend live, in-person appearances as scheduled by the station or requested by clients.
- Maintain and build a positive cooperative attitude within the station and a strong personal community involvement.
- Operate audio control console.
- Follow and enforce FCC regulations, station and company policies, including implementing station’s/state’s EAS procedures.
- Assist in the creation of radio advertising and station promotions by providing administrative project or process support to department managers or staff
- Other job-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
- Experience in radio production, broadcast and/or communications
- Outstanding organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
- Ability to work within prescribed guidelines without needing close supervision
- Self-starter, with the ability to take and follow direction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, social networking platforms and basic audio production tools
- Can work well independently and as an integral part of the team
- Strong editorial skills, including use of radio automation systems; ability to edit audio for clarity and time
