Private Equity Banker Internship – Gain Real-World Transaction Experience
We are seeking highly motivated and intellectually curious individuals for a Private Equity Banker Intern position. This internship is designed for graduate-level students—preferably MBA candidates—who are looking to gain hands-on experience in private equity, investment banking, and mergers and acquisitions.
Unlike traditional internships, this role is not observational. Interns will play an integral part in live transactions, working directly with senior investment professionals on real deals across multiple stages of the transaction lifecycle.
Intern Tracks Available:
Applicants may choose one or more of the following focus areas, depending on their background and interests:
Deal Sourcing. Identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities. Support outreach to business owners, corporate executives, and intermediaries. Learn how proprietary deal flow is built and maintained in a competitive environment.
Financial Analysis & Modeling. Assist in developing financial models, including LBO, DCF, comparable company analysis, and pro forma forecasts. Analyze financial statements, assess risk-adjusted returns, and support the structuring of investment proposals.
Research & Strategic Analysis. Conduct detailed industry research, competitive analysis, and market sizing. Analyze sector trends and deal activity. Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, pitch materials, and strategic recommendations.
