LITIGATION PARALEGAL
JOB DESCRIPTION
Lott & Fischer, a boutique intellectual property law firm in Coral Gables, has an immediate opening
for a full-time, on-site litigation paralegal.
Role Description
• The litigation paralegal maintains the firm’s cases being litigated in the courts (U.S. District Court for Southern District of Fl.; Federal Circuit Court of Appeals; Trademark Trial and Appeal
Board)
• Receives and examines all pleadings , dockets deadlines, and distributes to counsel and
client(s),as necessary.
• She/he is solely responsible for finalizing and filing of all pleadings in the appropriate
court, as well as maintaining the litigation and TTAB dockets on a weekly basis and attending weekly litigation meetings.
Requirements
• Three-five years litigation experience in a law firm setting;
• Knowledge of Local and Federal Court Rules of Procedure, as well as e-filing
• Must be detail oriented and possess excellent communication, writing and computer
skills;;
• Must be able to work independently in a time-critical environment and respond to multiple
priorities in a professional manner;
• Experience with Aderant (Vision) docketing software is desirable, but training will be provided
if necessary;
