Manager in Training
Crete Carrier Corporation is seeking five ambitious and driven individuals for our Manager in Training program. As a MIT candidate you will learn how our strategy and methods lead to effective business relationships. You will learn and assist multiple departments and positions to learn what goes into running a transportation company as well as work with management to proficiently understand how the company operates.
We are currently looking for August or December graduates
Role and Responsibilities
- Provides feedback and suggestions on process efficiencies and improvements.
- Works with managers post-training to provide backup, as needed.
- Learns to perform supervisory responsibilities as needed to effectively manage personnel and drivers by coaching, planning, assigning work, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and training employees.
- Initial training will take place at our corporate office in Lincoln, NE and relocation will be required once the program is completed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferable in Supply Chain Management, Management, or Business Administration with an interest in trucking and/or transportation.
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking to solve problems and make decisions independently.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
