Marketing Intern
Position Summary
The Marketing Intern at Aqua-Chem will support the marketing team by assisting with campaign execution, data organization, and event coordination. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing while allowing the intern to develop key professional skills in a collaborative environment.
Essential Duties
- Assist in generating and organizing monthly and weekly sales and marketing reports to support data analysis and sales forecasting.
- Support the execution of industry-focused email campaigns by maintaining contact databases and helping scrub email lists.
- Help coordinate trade show preparations, including gathering supplies, managing registrations, and assisting with logistics.
- Work with the sales team to ensure Salesforce data accuracy, identifying errors and assisting with database cleanup.
- Support digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Help analyze Salesforce data to identify marketing opportunities for customer engagement and business growth.
- Conduct market research under guidance to assist in identifying potential new business targets.
- Maintain and update marketing and sales documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the team.
- Assist with marketing campaign execution, tracking performance, and compiling reports.
- Help manage inventory for promotional and marketing materials.
- Support administrative tasks for sales functions, training events, customer visits, and company meetings.
- Assist with social media postings and website content updates.
- Contribute to content creation, including video, documents, and photos.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred).
Experience
- 1 -2 years experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
